Ellsworth passed away peacefully on Nov. 8, 2016 at the age of 91. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Jean, his son Gordon (Ginger), daughter Judith Palagi (Harvey), and son John (Dana). Ellsworth also left behind his loving 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ellsworth had a love of flying Radio Controlled airplanes which he built from kits. He was active in 3 RC clubs: Bayside RC Club, SacRats, and Peninsula Channel Commanders, where he served as Treasurer for many years.
We will miss your smile and sense of humor.
Services were at Skylawn Funeral Home in San Mateo on Thursday, Nov. 17 at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation in memory of Ellsworth.
